Adav Noti is Campaign Legal Center’s Senior Director, Trial Litigation & Chief of Staff. He coordinates and manages CLC’s litigation in the federal district courts. Prior to joining CLC, Adav served for more than ten years in the Office of General Counsel of the Federal Election Commission, including as Associate General Counsel for Policy from 2013 to 2017. He has litigated dozens of constitutional cases in district courts, courts of appeals and the United States Supreme Court, including the landmark cases of Citizens United v. FEC and McCutcheon v. FEC.
From 2011 to 2012, Adav served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Columbia. He is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University and a Complaint Examiner for the District of Columbia Office of Police Complaints. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, his law degree from New York University and his master’s degree from Georgetown University.
