Advocate | Welcome Home! The Movement for Affordable Housing
Brenda Gadd is an advocate for gender and racial equity, and housing and economic justice. Bringing together almost two decades of political campaign management and leadership with government relations and activist work, she founded Rethink Public Strategies to work with organizations focused on progressive changes in the public and policy arena with an intersectional approach by developing and connecting grassroots to the grass tops. One of the many her passion projects is Welcome Home! The Movement for Affordable Housing that is focused on housing justice and solutions. Hailing from a small town in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in east Tennessee she knows the importance of giving back. She serves on several boards such as Emerge America, Tennessee Equality Project, New Leaders Council and The Equity Alliance Fund and often trains on advocacy strategy and tactics.
