National Program Leader | Business for American Promise
Elizabeth Doty is a former lab fellow of Harvard University’s Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics, the National Program Leader of Business for American Promise, and the founder of Leadership Momentum, a San Francisco-based management consultancy. During her fellowship, Elizabeth studied what happens when companies make promises to customers, employees, investors or the larger world, and the implications for business and society. Her book, The Compromise Trap, explores the everyday pressures people face to compromise their values on the job, and the surprising ways professionals use their influence for good. With her clients, Elizabeth has helped companies foster cultures based on values and integrity for over 25 years. She earned her MBA from Harvard and writes for strategy + business. This year, she and American Promise will build a network of values-driven business professionals working on the 28th Amendment to end unlimited political spending and restore integrity in government.
