Elizabeth Lindquist is an Oncology Pharmacist in Rockford, Illinois. Following Bernie Sanders’ June 2016 call to his supporters to run for local office, Elizabeth entered and won the most competitive, most expensive Roscoe Township Trustee race in the township’s history. She now serves as the sole progressive on a conservative township board, where she collaborates with with her fellow board members to provide what all people want from local government, reliable services at reasonable cost.
Elizabeth’s passion is democracy reform. She established Represent Rockford in 2012, serves as State Issues Specialist for Campaign Finance Reform for League of Women Voters of Illinois, and is a founding board member of the multi-racial Our Revolution affiliate Illinois for All. This passion led Elizabeth’s to devote a year volunteering for Illinois state Senator Daniel Biss in his bid to become the Democratic nominee for governor in 2018. She has organized with numerous other democracy reform groups and volunteered with multiple political campaigns.
She lives with her husband, two children, and adorable labradoodle in Roscoe, Illinois.
