Jim Rubens has founded over ten small businesses and makes his living as an investor in commercial real estate and in New England high tech start-ups. Jim served in the New Hampshire state senate, launched debate on passage of New Hampshire’s electricity competition law, championed a bill that expanded voter turnout in local elections by five times, and wrote New Hampshire’s charter school and victim restitution laws. He is past chair of the New Hampshire GOP Platform Committee. Jim ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primaries for US Senate in 2014 and 2016. For his volunteer work, he was named 2013 New Hampshire Union Leader Citizen of the Year. He has served on two legislative study commissions on campaign finance reform. He has testified before several states’ legislatures in favor of the Wolf-PAC free & fair elections resolution. He serves as New England Chair for Take Back Our Republic.
