Founder & President | Trailblazers PAC
Leslie Danks Burke is the founder and President of Trailblazers PAC, which builds leaders of any party who act better than broken campaign finance laws require, and communities that demand and expect honest government. Trailblazers give voters the power to move politics out of the back room, onto the front porch.
A 2002 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, Leslie practiced law in New York for 12 years before shifting to spend full-time on public advocacy. Her 2016 campaign for State Senate was unique in New York in garnering 13 points beyond the registered partisan divide. Although not enough to win, this unusual distribution in hyper-partisan 2016 led to founding Trailblazers PAC, where candidates win by being more accountable to voters than required. Leslie has served on multiple nonprofit boards, and she is a proud hockey mom and Girl Scouts leader.
